Kustom 150 worth anything?

Sign in to disble this ad
I'm just curious, not offering it up for sale or anything.
I have an old (late 60's?) Kustom 150 combo amp, 75 watts,
15" speaker, black tuck and roll, fair (maybe) condition, still works. MAY need a new speaker (either that or it's simply a crappy sounding amp). Some tears in the upholstery along the bottom edge (duct taped), previous owner rewired it to allow connection to a DI, some rust on the back board screws and casters.
Is it worth anything? I only ask ,because I'm either gonna fix it up, or I might just toss it. Depends on whether it's worth the effort or not.

It's worth something. What I don't know. Find out what it would cost to get it up and running again, and decide if the cost is worth it to you. Old tuck and roll Kustom amps do have their fans and collectors.

I like my Kustom, it's not vintage but from the ones I've played they sound very similar. Granted my experience is maybe 6-7 amps but still Kustom has a really good thump that works very well in certain situations.
