local bass player needs to move gear and is selling his kustom tuck and roll TRb-400 head

he said its in good working order.
he's asking 250 but ima try to see if he will part with it for 200

this is gonna be my introduction to the tube world

anyway back to relevance. is 200 bucks worth it for the head? and what do you vintage guys think about this head?

It's a recent amp, not vintage.

The old Kustoms were all solid-state (not tubes) and had designations like K-200, K250, etc.

Yeah, I dunno if any Kustoms were(or are)all-tube. The old stuff is kinda cool- newer, I'm not impressed. Just don't be like me & decide before even looking that *I'm coming home w/a new rig today*

That is the correct model number - it is a Tube preamp with Solid State power amp - 400watts

I'd pick it up just for the cool factor at that price, assuming it works ok

It's a 90's SS amp with a single 12ax7 tube in the preamp.
