I was thinking of getting this amp and probably the RB115 speaker to go with it, however it's pretty difficult for me to get to any stores and try before i buy.

If anyone has used this amp or another Laney model, then feedback would be greatly appreciated. In fact any feedback would

Thanks guys.

I used the RB-3 as my first amp. Still use it at band practises. They have a nice sound to them. My main rig now still uses Laney cabs, but the Nexus series 410s. It would swallow that Richter up whole and still be starving for a 3 course meal. =P

I owned the RB9. I really liked how it sounded. The EQ could be better. The Compressor and the D.I suck. I used it with two cabs and didn't have a problem cutting through the mix.
It was a really good head but I changed it for a Tube head and haven't looked back.

The RB9 is massively underrated. OK, it's not as portable as the Class-D stuff, but not everyone wants that. It's built like a brick ****house, sounds great and can be picked up dirt cheap. Go for it - you won't regret it!
