Thumbs up Larry Hartke Rocks!

I have a brand new respect for Hartke now! I had to send an LH1000 back to New York due to some electrical issues, and got it back with a whole new set of problems. I found the number for call Larry, and did. He picked up promptly and told me not to worry that he would have it dealt with. Gave me the number to his service manager, and said it would be handled. That's what the business world is missing communication with the customers. Larry, I applaud your dedication to your product and service thereof! In short! You da man Larry! I am now a for sure Hartke Supporter!

Larry is a unique and awesome business person, and all around good-guy, for sure. I don't believe you can actually call the owners of any of the other companies, except for the exclusive boutique brands.
I ran into him in line at a drink cart at the NAMM show a few years ago. He was standing in front of me, and I recognized his trademark hair and shades. I said " love your work, Larry." He turned around and said "Bass player? here, gimme a call sometime," and handed me his promo kit, with all his phone numbers, email, etc. Never did call him. Probably should have.

Yeah....I was very shocked and impressed when it was actually him that answered! I figured it was some scam or something. Makes for a classy operation if you ask me!

I have never heard anything but the Greatest when it comes to Larry and his dedication to supporting customers. Very cool.

Would love to be a Hartke customer, but they don't currently have anything that lines up with what I'm looking for. If they ever make a lightweight, small combo, I'd go for it.

In the years that I was a Hartke dealer, there was no better company to deal with. The product was solid, and if there were any issues, Larry would make sure that it was taken care of promptly. The only problem I had was they dicontinued the LH500 Combo before I could get one.

I'm sitting on my computer reading this with a Hartke amp behind me...played about 7-10 different ones at 3 different shops before I went with this one...solid combo and has all controls easy to access, plenty of options...nice unit!

I'm glad Larry was able to help. I've never had to return anything with Hartke, but I did call his number a few years ago on a whim. Larry called me back and we just talked bass for awhile. Good guy.

There are several threads on TB where Larry has personally addressed an issue a member was having. I have never seen anyone else give the level of service Larry Hartke does for his products!

We're also lucky enough to host Bob Gallien (rgallien) on TB. Both are top guys who I've spoken to and stand behind their products 100%. Bob sorted a problem out for me, and I'm sure Larry would if I owned any Hartke gear.

I've owned 2 different Hartke's, a 2x12 cab (great sound, aluminum cones) and currently own a Transporter 4x10 (aluminum as well). I really enjoy the sound.

GK was mentioned, and Genz Benz belongs on the short list for the best CS in the biz as well.
