Late to the party - Genz Benz Shuttle 6.2

Just picked up one of these. I'm definitely a Shuttle kind of guy - traded a Streamliner for this Shuttle. The SL is really good at what it does, and in the funk band where the band wanted a more old-school sound, it was great. But I never felt like I really "got" the tone control interaction.

Shuttle 6.2 arrived just before I left for a gig. I put it in the car along with my regular amp. Plugged it in, played a few notes, dialed a few knobs, and BANG - there was my sound.

These are great little amps.
That is all.

I am actually thinking of getting a Shuttle as my back up amp.. I was thinking of a 6.2 or a 9.0/9.2 .. I had a 6.0 .. and I liked it.. but I like the 9.0 better..

I had the 6.0 and wasn't crazy about the voicing.
I like the 9.0, and now the 6.2 (and 9.2). And the dear old NeoPak

Both great, both very different, both designed for different players and tone goals. The 6.2 has been revoiced to basically be a lower powered Shuttle 9 now. I like it very much!

Congrats Jonathan, on Friday night my 9.2 was delivered and played with it yesterday and will put some more time in today. Really enjoying it!
