What I'm looking for is a 6x10 that will handle a 5 string for hard rock but also have a good modern sound. I've looked at the Epifani UL,Berg NV, GB XB2 and now I'm thinking about LDS. Does anyone know if there is a warranty with LDS?
From a price perspective LDS wins hands down. Also does anybody have suggestions on what speakers to pick? |

I would also send Don an email and ask his advice on which speakers you need based on your playing style, etc. I've emailed him a few times about various cabinets and he knows his stuff. It might take a day for him to get back to you, so email him asap. Just my $.02 You may even find that all you need is a pair of 210s or one 410.

What amp you're using is a big factor, how you eq it, and whether you tend toward a huge bottom end or not, etc.

It was supposed to replicate an SVT,but sounds a bit different then I wanted. It is working out very nicely though. great cab,and Don is very helpful in getting you what you need.

I play a wide range of music from Hard rock, funk, pop, blues ect. I do slap some but most of the time I play with my fingers. I like upper mids alot. |

That's how I'd roll. LDS has built a few. Also, there are a number of other builders in the fearful wiki. If you want flexible with a 5-string, I don't think I would suggest a 6x10 of any sort.
