Sign in to disble this ad
....and said I needed to buy this.......

1992LEM Super Bass 100 with MF280L 4x12 cabinet.

Just plugged it in. Full of awesome. Excuse me while I weep.

I think this bass will work with it......

AMEN!!!

I saw Motorhead in Anaheim in January (first show of the tour), and in Toronto last month, and Lemmy was sporting 2 of his complete sig stacks. At the Anaheim show, he was using one of his older 70s JMP Super Basses as his main amp, but it quit halfway through "Stay Clean" (the 3rd or 4th song in the set), and they replaced it with another signature head. He was still running 2 sig heads at the Toronto show.

Here's a pic of the initial setup at the show in Anaheim:

Here's a pic during the set after they replaced the head:

Cheers!

I saw them here in Winnipeg in February. Wicked show. Loved it. He was using 2 signatures I think. Will have to look at my pics.

Nice! Do you know what speakers are loaded in the MF280 cab?

Funny story: a few years ago, I was at the NAMM Show, and Jim Marshall was at the Marshall booth. I asked him if they were ever going to do a Super Bass reissue, and he said "Our engineers are working on it". I thought that was way cool. The next year, the LEM head was issued. I was stoked to hear about a Super Bass reissue, but never had ANY idea they were working on a Lemmy sig head!

Cheers!

Strangely I can' t find what kind of speakers are loaded in the cab - not on Marshall's site or at MF where I bought the gear.

Yeah, I know... it's weird. I even asked Lemmy when I bumped into him at the Rainbow in January, and he said he didn't know, heheheh... he says: "That's my roadie's job"!!!

Cheers!

If Lemmy comes to you in a dream and tells you to do something, I would say you bloody well need to do it.

Man it's hard to believe all this time and I've never seen Motorhead live... I'm going to have make a point to get that done.

Oh man I would be so stoked if they reissued the 1992... not the Lemmy version. I have a 71 superbass and JCM800, love these amps.

Dont even get me going on Lemmy.

This pretty much sums up my feelings on Lemmy

At the top right of Lemmy's hat you'll notice where Lemmy signed my arm in sharpie when I met him at the Rainbow one summer night after I played the Cat Club just down the street. I went the next morning and had it gone over in ink.

But to contribute here....I had a 73' superbass. On the regret list for selling. I also had a natural 1980 4001s just like one of the ones Lemmy used to have.
