The got a Streamliner 600. LOVE IT.

I have bought Genz Benz gear both new and used, and love all of it. The Shuttles are very good for practices and smaller gigs. I have the 3.0-10, the 3.0-8-T, the 6.0-210 and the 6.0-12 which has a second 12 cab to go with it. I also have a Streamliner 900 and a 4-ohm Neox 212.

I prepared for this apocalypse!

I have my own category. I have bought new and used, and don't own anymore ! I bought one of the first GB 215 cabs ( when they still made them ! ), and my recent purchase was a new 9.2 Shuttle. Just could'nt get what I wanted, tonewise, out of any of them to justify keeping them. Did some club hopping and sitting in about a week ago, and did not see one GB product on stage. I don't exactly live in LA, but it aint the sticks either. What I did see was mostly GK and Ampeg. Sometimes we here at TB think that it represents the whole of Bass Guitardom. BTW, did'nt see any 5lb, 500 watt micros either, but, man, the SVT is alive and well !

Tried a head and cab at a local music store and didn't like them at all.

Nothing yet. Not a large enough sample size.

Calm down. My point is not "for" or "against" anything. Just a curiosity that needs to be scratched.

Let me clarify my "No, Just never came across one" vote. I've never come across one that I had to buy/have. They are available at a dealer here in town, just not the ones I want to own. And I can't afford new, so I'd be looking at used. The Shuttle 600w was not enough amp for me and the shuttlemax 12.2 was one channel too many with not enough watts per channel. The 9.2 is the first one I've seen that has perked my interest. And I have not come across one used yet where i've had the cash ready.

It's the economy.. I also wish they came with a really really nice compressor. Then I would HAVE to have one.

I really thought more people would have voted by now given the uproar the other thread caused. Interesting. I don't know what it means, mind you. Just interesting.
