If the $2k budget is the entire budget, I'd go with two Berg AE112 - $1300 and the LMIII - $600. That will give you portability for smaller gigs, two cabs will fit more easily in the trunk of a car than one large one and 500 watts should be enough for anything that won't have FOH support.
If it were just me, I'd almost go with a RH450 combo. |
