LH500 or HA3500?

Sign in to disble this ad
I'm really wanting a LH500 Hatke head. I've played with this head a few times and really love it. I had a deal fall into my lap on a HA3500. I've played on the HA3500 in the past but was only messing around on it not looking to buy at the time. I live in Wyoming and I can't just cruze to my local guitar shop to A-B these heads so I thought I would ask my fellow bass plain bortha's and sista's for a little objective help. Any word on either head?

I should also not rule out other Brands in this same price range.

I gig with either an LH1000 or an HA2500. The nights I feel I have achieved "my sound" is with the LH1000. The HA2500 has more EQ options and a compressor, but for me the sweet spot is a passive P or Jazz bass through the LH1000
