I rediscovered my Ashley BP41 preamp last weekend. anyone know of any reasonably weighted power amps that would work with it? I know at one time Acoustic image made a small power unit, other ideas?

The Ashly should be able to drive just about anything, IIRC.

Drivecore's are the best things on the market right now IMHO - solid power, very cheap, built in decent limiter, super shallow in addition to being light.

Thanks for the ideas guys - I'll check them out. Anyone have thoughts/experience with the Stewart World Power gear?

Another vote here for the drivecore. If the price is right for you they are great. Quiet, cool running and loud, they do just what it says on the tin without any fuss. Three year no fault warranty too.

Overpriced and prone to thermal issues.
