Lightweight power amps for a bass rig? Opinions!

Has anyone tried the crown xti series power amps Specifically on a bass rig?

Or does anyone recommend any of the lightweight power amps out there? The kind under 15lbs. or so.

I've used the heavyweight crown power amps for years and they just don't die but my back hurts just thinking about lifting them.

i love my xti200's. they're very reliable, sound great, powerful, go down to 2 ohms (4 ohms bridged) and weigh 18lbs.
the newer XLS1500 looks nice too and weighs 10lbs less.

i just picked up an ampeg svp 1500 solid state poweramp a few months ago and threw it on the PA to run the mains. it's incredible and got it for $200 used at guitar center. it's only like 20-30lbs id say, and was designed to run an 8x10 cab bridged mono @ 4ohms around 1200w. thing is rock solid and sounds fantastic coming off my yamaha board!

I am running a QSC PLX 3602 in my rig. Works fine, even if there are amps with even lower noise floor. Power is certainly enough for all situations I have been in so far...

I got an XLS2000 recently - unfortunately I haven't had the chance to use it live though. I've been practicing with it and I think it's a keeper
