Lightweight speaker Upgrade
 

Have an older Hartke 4.5 bass cab 4x10 xl series. Cab is in really good shape. Was thinking of swapping speakers our for the newer light weight ones since the cab weighs a ton. Any suggestions on the speakers or if the lightweights would be a waste of money?

You'd have to do some modeling with a tool like WinISD Pro to figure out which lightweight drivers will work well with your cab. It's probably smarter to just upgrade to a lighter cab that has already been designed correctly.
