Line 6 110 + cab questions

Sign in to disble this ad
So I have a line 6 110 which can be heard over drums and guitar but I've recently be asked to play with a ska group so I think Ill need some more volume to cut through. Now i Know you can put a cab through the line 6 amp, my question is when the cab makes sound does it still come from the combo speaker? or does it just act as a head. Also what cab would you recommend?

The Studio 110 has a preamp out connection to hook up to another amplifier, but not one to go directly to an external speaker cabinet.

If the model you are talking about is the Line 6 Studio 110, there is no output jack for an external speaker. I am looking at mine right now. The only connectors are for a headphone, a DI and "preamp out." So I don't know how he could have done it other than connecting to something with an amplifier.

+1, and I owned one too. No spkr out on it. In this case, a bigger amp/spkrs is a good idea.
