List of Light 210 Cabs

Sign in to disble this ad
I was thinking it would be illuminating to have a list of light 2-10 cabs.

Ideally 40LBS or less (or close to it)

1. Markbass Traveller 102p - 33LBS (400W RMS SENSITIVITY: 101 dB SPL)

2. Hartke Transporter - 34LBS (150w Sensitivity: 94 dB @ 1 W/1 M)

3. SWR golight - 38LBS (400 Watts RMS 105 dB SPL @ 1W1M)

others...?

EA NL210 (2nd edition)=38 lbs! Now out of production and hard to find....apparently to be replaced by (I cannot wait for this cab to come out) a Wizzy 212!!!!!!!

Also Shuttle 210 (37lbs). Never heard it-but I don't dig the Shuttle 12 cab much.

Carvin BRX 10.2 lists at 46lbs, if that's close enough.

The carvin brx210 may be a little heavier than 40 lbs but I am amazed at its power handeling and how much output it has.I play some open jams and have had other bassists comment on how much thumpin, low, punchy bass sound it puts out.I usually drive it with my lmiii at it is usually all I need for indoor venues. I have'nt played through all 210's but have played through quite a few and have never heard one that sounds this good all by itself!

Hey lomo, I didn't ask about a 212 but I emailed John at EA about what they were going to do about the NL's (as I own 2 of the 210's) and he said they are planning on do the wizzy 210 and 410 cabs. Not sure if the 212 is in the works but would be cool for sure.

Maybe I heard wrong?? Too bad if that's the case-I'd love a Wizzy 212.
