A little help with my Ashdown...

I was practicing solo with my Ashdown amp when the sound decided to give out on me. Normally I practice with my tiny Crate POS, but for once I have the house to myself so I figured I'd enjoy playing with my "real" amp. I plugged in and was enjoying myself: Great low end, slightly distorted tone, very nice. Then in the middle of a riff the sound cut out. I played a few notes and got a little response, but it was either barely audible or highly distorted. I checked the amp with a few different cables, a passive bass (even though the active's battery is only a week old), but no change. The head is an Ashdown MAG 300, and the cab is a MAG 410T deep.

What do I need to do to get my sound back?

First try to find if the problem is the head or the cab. Do you have another head you can try on your cabinet? A friend that could come over with another head?

If it's relatively new, check if it's still on warranty. Contact ashdown.

My guess if it stopped out of nowhere, the problem is probably in the head...
