| You have 2 very different 1x12s. I think a pair of either one would sound better than putting those two cabs together. That is probably why it "doesn't sound right", in your words.
I have a LMII with 2 PS 112s and it sounds great with both of them. Its a similar sound to the 1 PS112 by itself, but with thicker lows and much more overall volume. However, lots of people have had success with the 1x12/2x10 combo, so it's up to you. I like putting 2 of the same cabinet together, rather than mixing and matching because, as you have seen first hand, mixing and matching can potentially leave you with a mismatch that doesn't sound right.
