Question Little Mark Rocker 500?

Sign in to disble this ad
Does anyone have a rocker 500? I saw a demo on youtube in german and thinking about getting one. If you have one are you happy with it....or for that kind of money wish you got something with more features?

Try a search on here. I saw a few scattered comments. Most were saying that the Rocker could dial in some grit.

Thanks. I did a more extensive search using the google option and found one member in Europe who has one but did not say anything. The only difference in specs from the Little Mark lll is the onboard tube drive circuit. I went ahead and ordered one from musiciansfriend.com. with their generous return policy. I don't use distortion often and would rather have everything handy on the amp rather than deal with pedals. Reviews on the LM lll are great.... the tone, power and light weight....so I can't wait to try it!

Hey, do a search on TB, and spell it out exactly like this:

Markbass Littlemark rocker--Speculation/intrigue

It's a 3-page thread from 2010.

Thanks. I did read this thread. One member tried it at a store several times and did not like it. One did not like it and sent it back. One in the UK tried it... liked it and said it was one of his favorite Markbass amps. And the very last post was the only member who owned one and planed to post samples on youtube...so he must like it. That's two and two. I should have mine Friday and this weekend I'll be able to post my opinion whether the tube drive circuit is worth $200 more than a Little Mark lll.

Had the choice of the Rocker and the LMT and not sorry. I heard The Rocker is a bit of a one trick pony.

Nice choice. I saw a demo of the LMT on youtube and I could hear the warmth with the tube preamp dialed in. A lot more input options too with dual gain controls and the LMT is only $80 more than the
LM lll. I hope the rocker 500 is worth it.
