LM III and LM Tube - much difference?

I am seriously considering the LM III, but the addition of a tube sounds very attractive to me. However, I haven't had a chance to play the LM Tube yet.

I read somewhere that there isn't much difference in sound and it isn't very "tubey" sounding.

What are your thoughts and/or experiences?
