Looking for small but CLEAN set-up

I'm looking for something that will get me through small clubs to medium gigs. Combo or combination of a head and a cab. Preferably something that lets you dial in multiple tones, and has no "amp color." I'm also looking for something almost micro in size because the band-mobile has been sold and the new one can't handle my Warwick 115 pro because of depth . Price effective would be best since I'm not a loaded guy. I'm still in high school so I need something that's pref not over 1000. Would be interested in finding something used if required by the price-point. Got a couple of gigs lined up August 5th & 6th, so preferably in the next couple of weeks I get all my stuff sold so I can get the new gear to test everything out.

Sorry for the sob story . I would also like to say that I play Jazz-Fusion and Prog rock mostly and like clarity in my quick runs.

Best regards,

Brooks

I don't know how much smaller you can go than a 1x15, but I would check out the GK MB series heads and cabs.

Dunno if it's in your price range but the Markbass transporter cabs are very small and light.

pretty much every amp is designed to be clean at low volume, so as long as you don't have to push your amp for volume, then you should have no problem staying clean, but as volume requirements increase then the best way to stay clean is add more speakers.

It really depends on your PA . Can you DI to the PA and what kind of monitors do you have? I have done lots of gigs with just an MXR M-80 D.I. Box. I dont like distortion, so I just ran it clean and flat. Thats about as small and light as you can get if you have a descent PA and monitors.
