Loose Speakon Input On Cab

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi,

I've got 2 Warwick 211pro cab's that i use when gigging.
Problem is one of the speakon inputs on the cab is loose and sometimes it cuts out. Would this be easy to fix ?

Cheers

No way of knowing till you take out the jackplate and inspect it.

If the speakon is PC-mounted, it could be a broken connector or a broken PC board. One is an easy fix, the other is not.

Bass-players are invariably clever and resourceful people - get that connection plate out and see what needs to be done - sounds like a small job with a soldering iron to me!

If the socket is broken it'll need to be replaced. Use the four pole socket for compatibility.
