Lopo 1x15 Resonance Help

Sign in to disble this ad
Howdy,

I recently purchased two Lopo Line 1x15 cabinets, and loaded them with Eminence Kappa 15c drivers. I am getting an extremely loud, boomy "resonance" at around 60-70 Hz (B1-Db2). I was hoping to mitigate this effect, and wanted some options on how to do it. I've done some reading, and since I can't increase the volume of the enclosures, I think I'm left with dampening material, and/or increasing port diameter/length. What do you suggest?
