which is louder? eden wt300 or mesa walkabout?

i know the two amps probably (hopefully!) sound completely different. i know the eden wt300 pretty well and im thinking about trying a mesa walkabout head, but am unsure if it'll be loud enough. theyre both 300 watts, which you'll know if youre replying to this post from an informed place....

ive used the wt300 a bunch thru my two avatar 4x10 cabs. it is mostly loud enough but i do hear (and see via the little red light) the limiter working more than id like. id like a little more headroom than that.

can anyone who has had experience with both please offer opinions on which is the louder amp? thanks!

Volume is almost exclusively a product of the speakers, so, 2 300 watt amps through the same speakers should be identical. I know for sure, the Mesa Walkabout is a very honest 300 watts.
