so I was trying to sell a couple of speakers and was looking for the info online so I could post an add on Craigslist. Then the new Ampeg Neo speakers showed up on my search, and I don't remember exactly how but I ended up checking out an add on Ebay for two Ampeg cabinets.
I absolutely love my Ampeg SVT 4 PRO, but I never had real high end speakers.
First of all, I am kind of cheap, I am also practical, and sure like that phrase "if it ain't broke, don't fix it!'.
So I've been using my Peavey 410 TX cabinet for about 14 years now! It's a work horse, and I think it sounds great.
Anyway, I noticed the Ebay add was close to ending, and the bidding was very low. It said, "local pick up only" and the guy lives in Trinidad-Colorado. So I put in my bid and won!!!

I even felt bad. Called the guy back, and told him that I didn't want him to feel that it was an unfair deal, and that he could cancel the auction if he wanted, and I'd be cool with it.
He said, No problem. He explained to me that he traded some vintage guitar with some guy, and that's how he got the cabinets, blah, blah, the guy is happy, he is happy, and I am happy! Everybody is happy!
