making more volume

hello. so, I'm getting a cab built by Don Oatman in the (hopefully) near future. I also bi-amp (two separate outputs, two separate amps), and since I'm starting a bass + drum power duo, I need my bass to be super loud (also, I just want it super loud ). for portability issues, I was looking at getting a physically single cab that contained two cabs that were separated internally and had separate inputs on the back for each half. the top half would be sealed 2x10 + 6.5" + tweeter cab for the highs, and the bottom half would be a ported 2x12 cab for the lows. for the highs, I'm running a Peavey Valveking 100 head, and for the lows, I'm running an SWR Workingman's 4004. but I'm wondering if that would be loud enough. I'm thinking about getting a sealed 4x10 + 6.5" + tweeter for the highs, and a 2x12 (or maybe 3x12) cab for the lows. would anyone have any idea if this would be much louder than the original idea? or would it really not be that much more?

Think about it. Nobody here has heard you play, so we have absolutely no idea how loud you want to be.

If you're not going to measure decibel levels, then there's no way to compare.

It's like talking about how the speed of your car compares to mine. If we don't look at speedometers, we're just guessing.

true. I was wondering how I'd get across what I'm talking about since it's kind of a vague concept. I'm just curious if the 4x10 would be much louder than a 2x10, and if it'd be worth lugging around the extra cab/weight. I'm just curious if the 2x10 would start distorting and breaking up sooner than the 4x10. like today, I was playing through an Acoustic 1x12 combo amp, and the drummer was playing SUPER loud, and I had the volume turned up almost all the way. granted, it wasn't a 100w tube amp, but I'm curious if I'd ever come across problems like that with the setup I mentioned, or if it'd be easier to attain higher volume levels with the 4x10/2 or 3x12 setup. I'm just not too educated on how speaker number equates to volume levels.
