Making a stand/tiltback for a 210

I'd like to make some sort of wood stand that would get my 210 (in a vertical orientation) off the floor and improve the midrange projection. This would be for situations where the 210 is all I have, as in a small venue (think coffee shop), or as an onstage monitor where I have full PA support.

Any suggestions as to how high it should be and what the tilt-back angle should be (if at all)? Obviously every venue is different, so I'm looking at something that would be sort of a one-size-fits-all compromise that could work in the most settings.

Have you looked at some of the metal amp stands? I use one for my combo and it works great, folds flat, light weight and portable.
