Looking to pick up a new rig soon and this what I'm considering.

Anyone try this? Thoughts, opinions?

Sounds like a good move! Try stacking the 210's vertical - I do that with my 210's and you can really hear yourself well doing that. Have you been able to try out the rig yet? If you like it, buy it!

I owned the LMT800 for awhile and I liked it. Although others don't necessarily agree, I found it to sound very similar to my LMII (with my EQ settings) which is a good thing. I haven't tried those particular cabs but in general I like Markbass cabs that have a horn, not a fan of their piezo tweeters.

Haven't tried it out yet, but definitely makes sense on "paper." I might venture out this weekend and see what I can find.

I like the versatility of being able to bring one cab to smaller gigs and still have punch. I wonder, is there a horn control on these? I usually turn the horn off unless I really need it. Stacking them vertically is definitely a good idea and is my intention. Gearhead, do you still maintain good bottom-end with the vertical configuration?

I have no experience with those particular cabs, but I ABSOLUTELY LOVE my LMT800 with my Ampeg SVT-15E or my Ampeg SVT-410HLF. That head RAWKS!!! and grooves, and dubs, etc...

Bottom end compared to what - stacking them horizontal? The vertical configuration seems to work wonderfully for hearing myself and I do not feel I am losing bottom end doing this. It's hard to tell though - when I do the vertical stacking it's typically on a big stage and the subwoofers are generally spilling over. So it's hard to tell what exactly I am hearing more of.

Yes. Also, are you able to get a good amount of stage volume without pushing the amp? I do a lot of gigs without PA support, so I'll need be loud. I'm currently using an Eden WT550 with two 15 cabs. Plenty loud for a whole room, plenty boomy too

I can not comment on the position differences, but I will say this; two vertically aligned 210's are definitely loud enough and since they are closer to your ears - you will not have to blast your amp to hear yourself. Put the vertical stack next to a wall and you can get the extra low end.
