Question Markbass; Little Mark 250....loud enough to gig with??

i'm thinking of buying one of these heads to use with my band (we play rock primarily), but don't know if it'll be loud enough for small-medium venues, could someone please help me out.

ohh yeah i'd be using it through a 4ohm marshall 4x10 cab!!

It'll be loud enough, just remember for markbass amps you cannot add another cab if you are using one 4 ohm speaker. You can use two 8 ohm cabs which ll increase the total load to 4 ohms, but yeah you should be good

I do find it funny nowadays with all these super powerful Bass amps kicking about. When I was coming up 200/250 was pretty much the standard for a bass amp. I am delibereatly on the hunt for a smaller amp, because my cabinet is rated at 200 watts and got blown by my 500 watt amp when I kit shared at a gig recently becuase one of the arrogant bass players in the other bands ignored my instrucitions to not turn the master up past 12 o'clock. He was also too skint to pay for the damage, so I now refuse to kit share until I have an amp that does not have the potential to blow my speaker.

After that incident you could be forgiven for never sharing any gear again. Ya shoulda done a Tonya Harding on the sob as he was leaving!
