MarkBass 4x10 vs. MarkBass 4x8

Sign in to disble this ad
I got a guy up here in K.C. who wants to let go of a MarkBass 4x8 cab. He tells me it can get lows as good as a MarkBass 4x10 are close to it. I can't see it or here it, until a week from this Saturday. What is your opinion on this if anybody has one, I would like to here. I was thinking about buying a LDS cab a while back with 4 8's in it, but someone beat me to it. I thought about adding it to my Jeff Berlin combo.

I like mine, but it does favor the midrange tones. Seems to handle high wattage and volume without farting out.

The 4x8 is also a light and small unit, so transport is a snap.

I tried one (actually, two, stacked) at NAMM 2010, pretty amazing sounding. Go for it.
