Markbass CL 300, what is the deal with this amp?

Hi,

I am thinking about getting an all tube bass head, and i wondering about this Markbass CL 300, I mean, I like the amp, but this microprocessor is what put some doubts on my mind.

the amp is all tube, the microprocessor heats up the tubes and rebias the tubes every time the amp is on, which is good!,. But for the price of this amp is most likely is going to be discontinued, is so expensive that is not like every bass player can afford one, that means that the support to fix this amp will as well be stopped. So if i buy one, and this amp are discontinued as I said, and the microporcessor stop working or some failure happen in the microprocessor, then there is nobody who can fix the amp. Or can the amp work perfectly as a regular all tube head?

This is a truly exceptional amp, though it's certainly not going to be all things to all players. The technology (and the implementation of the technology) is quite impressive, though. This is a "package deal," though, so if the electronics fail, you are not going to be able to use the head at all. That being said, Markbass hasn't dropped this model yet, and they do have excellent customer support.

Thanks man, I will check the review later. I atter with you this amp must be really good, so I Willy tried for my self and find out if this is the one for me.
