Markbass classic series cabs discontinued?

Does anybody know why this is? I need a big loud sealed cab and I was looking at the markbass classic 8x10 as an alternative to breaking my back lifting an ampeg 8x10 but I was holding out on the purchase but if it's being discontinued then I might have to buy one before theres no more available :S

I know the discontinued the little mark and released a newer version are they doing that here or should I jump on it while I can?

On a side note how do they compare to an ampeg 8x10?

it's a little light in the loafers compared to an ampeg 810e but better than you'd think for such a tiny 810. don't know if it's been disco'ed, but i know that sales have not been great compared to their other cabs and i've seen heavy discounts on them. so it wouldn't surprise me if they were disco'ed.

New question! Unless somebody else wants to shed some light on whether or not they're discontinued anybody know any international dealers that might ship a big ****ing cab to Australia?

If you want something better than and Ampeg 810 just get a Bergantino NV610. Kills it not to mention the MB classics can't even touch it.

These guys might sell and ship one to you:

Your dollar is pretty hot against ours at the moment too.

It's possible it may have been a 610 though, Good luck.
