I purchased a Markbass CMD102P, and I love it, but it makes a fair bit of noise due to the fan.
Is this to be expected?

Never notice fan noise when I played live but basslessons and studio were not so nice. But as a live bassamp Markbass cmd102 was just great. Markbass heads are dead silent. My SA450 was that with any cabs.
