"MarkBass CMD 102P" Vs "EBS Neogrom 210"

I'm in a dilemma and in need for advice. These amps have give or take the same capabilities, features, and power and, even though retail price for the EBS is 500 euros more than the MarkBass, I've been able to find a brand new one for the same price as the MarkBass (1,200 euro).

I play in a funk-rock-pop fusion band with bass lines and sound comparable to (just to give you an idea) Jamiroquai. I use a G&L bass. HELP!

Power's different... Markbass=400 w and EBS=300

Advice, please? Any of you own/know these models? I live in a place without any big stores, so I don't have the opportunity to go and try them. Thanks!

The MB CMD 102P is a good sounding combo. I don't know anything about the EBS so I can't compare.

The Markbass is actually 300W into 8 ohms (internal speakers) and 500W when used with an extension cab to lower the load to 4ohms. I've commented a lot on here about how I think this combo is near perfect for me, on its own or with an extra cab when the gig demands it.

Can't comment on the EBS other than to say I generally like their gear in my limited experience of it. But to be worth 500 euros more than my Markbass, this amp would have to be the finest combo anywhere on Earth, nip out after the gig to fetch me a takeaway curry and cuddle me in bed later on.

If you can get it for the same price, though, then they both have to be worth checking out any way you possibly can.

I've never played an EBS amp, but I've only read good things about the company. I can however, tell you that my Markbass CMD 102P has been a great combo for me. I've used it in a Modern Rock band, a Classic Rock band, and currently playing punk. No matter who my audience is, I've always been told I have amazing tone.
