MARKBASS CMD102P CHANGE IN HEAD STYLE

Anyone know when MB Changed to the LMII black faced heads from the MB yellowfaced-and if theres any difference in tone or anything??? Interested in buying one and the older style is what is available. Ive already had one but it was the newer LMII and I LOVED IT.. will I be disappointed with the older model for any reason?

The original CMD102P had the LMII head in it.

The more recent version upgraded to the LMIII head, the two main differences being a convenient pre/post switch and line out level control.

Sonically, the LMII and LMIII are identical. I've owned both.

I didn't like the original Little Mark head as much.

The magic really started with the LM11
