Markbass Combo pre/post di out question

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey Guys, just used my Markbass 2/10'' combo with my Markbass 2/10'' ex cab last night and it sounded really good I know a few more gigs and a little more tweaking and it should sound great..we didn't have a lot of time after set up to tweak the sound on the board..My question is is my amp pre or post eq through the di out?? if it's pre does my volume on the amp affect the signal out..another question is there anything out there that can go in between the di out and the sound board that can control the volume sent to the board...It's to bad Markbass didn't put a pre/post switch on the combo amp and is the combo amp the same as a Markbass LM11 ? Thanks

As far as I know, all MB amps have the DI set to "post eq". So, input gain and eq section is sent to the DI. I switched mine to pre eq. Here's how to do it: The time has come! Markbass MegaThread!
