Markbass Little Mark II with an Aguilar DB212?

Sign in to disble this ad
I was thinking about buying a DB212 to use with my LMII, which I'm currently using with a single DB112. My limited understanding of resistance makes me think I need to get the 4 ohm version in order to get max watts out of the LMII, is that right?

Anyone ever run a rig like this?

That should be a great match!!!!
I used to power my db212 with SA450 and it really sounded great!

unless you want another 212 in the future, then get 8 ohm versions

yeah if you want to add another cab go 8ohm, on the other hand a single 212 should be plenty for most gigs ymmv . . . I've never needed more than my LMII and avatar b212.

Thanks guys. I don't see myself needing to run two of these. My bandleader is already going to roll his eyes when he sees I'm expanding

I found a tweed DB212 in my local craigslist which is what prompted me to start this thread. I went and tried it out today, and decided to go for it. It has a few nicks and blemishes in it, but it was priced to move at $450. My original plan was to just add another DB112 to my existing one, but couldn't pass this one up considering it was priced the same as alot of the gently used DB112s that sell on these forums!

I can't wait to try it out at our next gig Saturday!

nice - I'm actually going down that other road. looking to nix my 212 in favor of a 2 112 set up. I do a lot of smaller gigs, seems to make sense. . .

I bet the DB's kill. Love my GS112, love to try out a DB one of these days . . . let us know how it goes
