Question Markbass - Little Mark III Power Supply for UK vs US

Sign in to disble this ad
I am thinking seriously of buying a CMD102P with a Little Mark III head in the next couple of weeks. I have tried them , the sound is smooth and there's lots of it, its a great combo amp. Only trouble is I will be relocating to the UK next year. This means the power supply will change from 120VAC 60Hz in the US to 240VAC 50Hz in the U.K. I know that Markbass Registered Technicians can change the circuit board connections on Little Mark II amps to suit UK voltage, but the circuitry is different on the Little Mark III amps. Does anybody out there know if a change can be done to the Little Mark III amp to change its supply voltage from U.S. to U.K.?

yes, lmiii is just an lmii with an improved di. but it has to be done by an authorized markbass repair shop or it voids the warranty. there were instructions on how to do it on an lmii here with pics...looks pretty simple...but darned if i can find them. i don't know why they do it that way instead of installing a switch on the back. i guess they don't trust us to know which voltage to set for our country
