I just got one of these amps last week after several years of wanting one. I realize they may not be the latest be-all-end-all amp now, but I do like the sound and for my purposes it's got plenty of power and I do plan to add an add on cabinet in the near future.
I'm an old drummer who turned to bass playing a couple of years ago, and I'm still working towards gigging out. So this amp is way overpowered for the house, and that's a good thing!
So now I'm ready to go do some kind of rehearsing on bass as the 300 watts this amp has is plenty for low volume rehearsals with my friends.
What I discovered was that a 16 x 16 padded floor tom gig bag fits this amp great, with enough room for some cables and a strap. I can throw the case, upside down, over the amp on the floor or on a stand or table and it's covered.
The more expensive drum gig bags like Levy's have better foam and are more rigid than the cheaper ones. I have some that are semi-weatherproof made from very rigid padding with a all weather tarpelin exterior from a short lived drum case maker.
