markbass nyc121 or GK Neo 12

I'm looking for a lightweight 12'' cabinet to use with a 300 watt amp and wondering which of these cabinets would be best for a 'modern rock' type of band. most of the shows the band plays are small venues with 200-300 people with FOH support.

Wouldn't the G-K Neo 210's wedge cab make it a better option for use as a bass monitor?



If need be two of them could be split between yourself and your drummer or they could be stacked together on-end to form a 4 X 10 line array.
