Markbass piezo repair

I messed up the piezo on my Markbass CMD 121p on a gig the other day. Now, it cuts out when I slap moderatly hard, but it'll kick back in when I take it apart and tap the front of it ever so lightly. Seems like I jarred something loose. The wiring on the outside is solid, it's a problem with something wired to the cone...? Is this fixable or do I just need to replace it? What sort of parts can I get in the US that will suffice? Thanks!

They're so cheap you just replace them. Is it similair to any of these? http://www.parts-express.com/wizards...eeter&x=34&y=4

Otherwise do a search here. Plenty of guys have had the same problem with piezos in markbass.

Assuming it's not just a loose wire in the cab or something.

...and when they go bad we just ignore it, no need for a tweeter for many of us.

Yeah, but without the tweeter I get an odd midrange twist I don't like. Maybe I could install a kill switch for it...

...in that case, do as above and just replace the tweeter.
