Finally got my used Markbass SD800 and it sounds really good. Currently im using an old Ampeg 4x8 200watt cabinet that really cant handle the power of the SD800 so i plan on getting the Epifani UL2 410 to go with it. right now it sounds fine but my strings are pretty dead and im not getting a lot of growl when i slap the low strings so so i hope the bigger cab will help me get some more growl. Does anyone have some nice slap settings for the SD800? anyway im happy so far with this amp.

Slap likes new strings, low and high EQ boost, mid cut, so....

New strings, Low at 11 o'clock, Low mid freq noon, Low mid cut 11 o'clock, Hi mid freq noon, High mid cut 11 0'clock, High slight boost to taste. VPF between 9 and noon to suit your cab.
