Markbass USA contact?

Sign in to disble this ad
Does anyone know who the Markbass USA rep is? I think I saw his posts on TB before but I can't remember his TB name. I need to contact him as the fan on my F1 is making lots of noise and I need a replacement fan quickly.

I'm going through the same exact thing with an out of warranty F1. (The fan is really, really noisy when cold and sounds like a grinding engine trying to start.) Here's what my month long search entailed and what I finally learned just the other day:

First, I emailed Peter Murray and he referred me to the US service manager, who (after a couple of email attempts) referred me to the ONLY US service center for MarkBass (Hi Tech Electronics), who, as it turns out, do not have those fans in stock. They, in turn, referred me to "partstore.com". The part number is RDM4010S, and it costs $13.95 plus shipping. Hope that helps. (I was going to order one today, but I forgot to do it--so thanks for the reminder!)
