Marshall Amps for Beginners

I am not going to lie I am a complete beginner with very little money to my name. I have seen a Marshall B25 amp for 45 English (60-70 USD-I think) is this A. A good amp to start with, and B.) worth the money. As a complete beginner any help would be greatly appreciated.

Anything that actually "works", as in, amplifying your bass, is fine for starters.
