Marshall MB 450h problems :(

Well i picked this amp up about a month ago through guitar center after long thought and review reading. i was most excited about the classic channel and the modern channel blend. but at the first gig i played it seemed as though the classic channel would die, so the blend would only be the modern. so i would turn it off and turn it on again and it would be there again so i just kept playing. This happened for a couple of weeks now but yesterday i cannot get any sound but a whisper from the classic channel. I am so frustrated! Does anyone else know what this is? The preamp tubes perhaps?? Thanks

Are you waiting a minute for the tube to warm up before you start playing? I've got the same amp, and have never had a problem with the tube like that. I know that the tube is covered under warranty for 90 days. If I were you I'd take it back to gc and exchange it. Otherwise tell them you want a new tube.
