Marshall MB4210 Question

I am looking to upgrade my speakers in my combo for Eminence drivers.

The only thing is I have no idea which speakers are best matched! Want to upgrade the tweeter also...

can anyone help?

Unfortunately, the speakers that are the "best match" are the ones that came in the combo from Marshall's factory. Without knowing a great deal about cabinet modelling, and speaker cab design, it's a pretty big gamble using ANYTHING other than factory spec.

What's wrong with the stock speakers in the cab? I would rather spend the money on new speakers to get another extension cab for my mb4410...

Already got an extension cab that uses Eminence speakers and I love it. Just fancied trying em out. Heard nothing but good about them.

The tweeter needs replacing ever because the fabled "factory" one died about a week in! Any suggestions for a replacement for that?

If it died about a week in, wouldn't you qualify for a "free" warranty replacement?

Yes but I had a gig coming up and didn't want to send my amp in for the sake of a tweeter! I'm only just really getting back round to wanting it and I don't want to buy another marshall one that can't handle the amp it is made for!

So no help on a recommendation?

I'd ask Marshall what drivers would they recomend. Option one they'll say that stock is the only option. Option 2 is they'll link you with some options that work well with the cab...
