Marshall MB4410 help!!!

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi, on our last gig this brand new Marshall MB4410 combo amp starts to lose volume and die. The first time happened after 30 minutes of playing, then every few minutes it came back but started losing volume and dying. The light stayed on. Has anybody come across this problem with this amp? (or any other amp that did this). Could this be a problem with the place possibly having fluctuating electrical power?

Possible cause

Hi,

I owned a Marshall DBS head that did something similar.
Try this - if you are not using the effect send/return inputs then put a looping plug cord into them. Because the send/return jacks were in the input circuit and they were either dirty or high resistance they cut the input signal intermittently.
