Marshall valve-state 8008 as bass power amp?

Hey fellows,

Just acquired a marshall valvestate power amp.
I was just wondering if this thing is suitable for bass amp useage? like i'd run it between my head and cab for a lil extra juice. What do you guys think? i believe it will alter my tone a little, but who knows, could be for the better?

Just curious, little iffy on trying it until i get more information on the topic.
