Has anybody used one of these with their B-25 and does it work? I heard they sometimes did not work with the B-25

What exactly is it? Got a link?

All I could find with Google is computer issues.

If you're talking about one of those things you plug in the external amp jack to progressively short out the preamp, looking at the schematic it would probably work, but I'm not sure it would give you what you're looking for (if that's massive overdrive).

Schematic: http://www.drtube.com/schematics/ampeg/b25-jp.gif

Old-school amps like the B-25 weren't designed with a lot of gain in the preamp section.

A post phase inverter master volume would be a better choice as it allows you to force the full output of the preamp into the phase inverter tube. I added one of these to my former Fender Twin Reverb and it worked well.

If this is related to your post about trying to get more volume, it won't work. It will only give you less.

You wouldn't happen to be talking about one of those boxes you find all over eBay that you plug into an effects loop would you? It wouldn't work as the B25 doesn't have an effects loop.

The web site indicates that it works with "some" B series amps. Perhaps you can contact them directly.

Looking at the schematic (I posted a link above) it probably would work...but ask Baja Tech to be sure.
