Matched tubes for 3-PRO

Sign in to disble this ad
Hello everybody,
I have an american (2006) SVT 3-PRO that needs new tubes. I have found a set that I really like and they are cheap! Do I need to get a matched set? I have seen this pop up a couple of times while doing research on the set I like. What is this and do I need to do it for my amp?
Thanks guys!

no, matched sets are mainly for stereo amps where its important to have each channel at the exact same level. no need to spend the extra dough. johnny a.
