I am GASn for a little MB 200 and was wondering if anyone has played one through an 8/10 cab yet? Juat wondering the volume level that can be reached? I have gone to my local dealer to actually try this, but the MB 200 is on back order until January! Must be a great amp! Thanks everyone in advance!

You would be surprised. I've played it thru a 4X10 and a 2X18 in parallel and it sounded great! That was at a rehersal studio and both cabs were 8 ohms. It will sound just fine thru a 8X10.

Great news! I think I'll go and put a deposit on one. If I do that they will bring one in from another store! Do you find that you make use of the headphone jack? Thinkn that may come in handy for some late night practice and the rest of the family sleeping. Thanks!

MB200 swiss army knife amp

Yes I've used it for headphone practice with the speaker disconnected no problem.

I've also used it as a bass preamp to drive a power amplifier and that works fine.

I use it now and then at rehersal thru my 4 ohm 2X10 to back up two guitars and drums.

I've used it with my sinewave generator to break-in my new 3015 neo speaker for 20 hours.

Dont forget to buy the case for it on Ebay. it's the 9 x 8.5 bag :

I've just sold it and, to be honest, I won't miss it. Found it was very scooped on mids and the eq. couldn't totally help to fix it. For the rest it's a very nice amp for the price.

I found one used locally! First one I ahve seen and I jumped o it! The price was fair at $150 and in mint condition! Tried it with my Ampeg cab and it is awesome! Loud enough and sounds incredible! I'm thinkn I'll order the bag from ebay too! Thanks again!
